Regaining Your Power

Your own Healing Journey

Owning your power

When children express their joy, enthusiasm and aliveness, they are manifesting their own personal power. Your power lies in that same ability to manifest who you are, to express your intentions and will. Your expression of your own power is not different from your experience of joy, because power comes from feeling and from the heart.

When we do not own our power, when we stop acting from our hearts, we disconnect from power; this is where power gets its negative associations. Disowned power is applied out of fear and reaction. We experience disowned power as force used against us, or as abuse, drama, manipulation and ruthlessness. Power used in these ways lacks compassion and joy, and it is false because it is reactive and superficial.

True power is transformative. It comes from a deep place within you, and connects you to that same deep place. True power reveals your greatness. When you own your power, are true to yourself and can act from your heart, you have access to your greatness   .   .   .
