Grace

We often talk about the experience of grace as if it is something that happens to us, from the outside. Grace exists in our openness to what is being offered, on the inside and the outside. Grace is all around us in everything, in all actions and experiences. It is only our contracted sense of who we are, and what we are worthy of receiving, that limits our experience of what is offered. . .

Being open to grace

How does one open to grace? You start by valuing yourself. Too many people when they seek grace, come with too small a cup. There is the expression, ‘seek and you shall receive’. Often people seek grace in a contracted state and are surprised when they receive a contracted experience of grace. Yet, this is how the universe works.

To become truly open to grace, you have to become truly open to who you are, to your own greatness and to your own worth. You have to protect your worth, from those people whom you allow to take it from you and from the past impressions and issues that may have contracted your sense of worth. .  .
